Penpont Ecology Services has undertaken some fascinating ecological projects including the conversion of an old military barracks in Surrey, the refurbishment of Plymouth Museum, and the restoration of an ancient mill house in Cornwall.  Under the Places of Worship funding programme we have had an opportunity to undertake bat surveys at 12 beautiful churches throughout Cornwall and Devon.

We have carried out Ecological Appraisals on green and brown field sites from small private plots to residential developments of 50+ houses.

Recently we have been asked to undertake the necessary Migratory Species surveys relating to the growing green industry of wind turbines and solar farms.

Sites have been prepared for on-going survey work throughout the summer for European Protected Species including Dormouse, Reptiles, Bats and Badgers.
